Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin

This sweet and tangy glaze is brushed over pork tenderloin as it cooks in the oven.  This pork is divine served with mashed potatoes and sauteed brussels sprouts.

Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin (adapted from allrecipes.com)

1/3 c. honey

2 T. soy sauce
1 T. brown sugar
2 T. sesame oil
2 T. balsamic vinegar
1 (3/4 - 1 lb.) pork tenderloins
Salt and pepper

Preheat the oven to 450.  In a small bowl mix together honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil and balsamic vinegar.  Place the pork tenderloins on a baking sheet that is lined with foil and sprayed with cooking spray.  Season the pork with salt and pepper.  Roast the pork for 15 minutes in the preheated oven.  Remove the pork from the oven and baste with the honey sauce.  Reduce the oven temperature to 350 and continue roasting the pork, basting occasionally with the honey sauce until it reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees.  Remove pork from the oven and allow to rest, covered with foil, for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

To prep this dish ahead make the glaze and store in the fridge.  Prepare the pork and store in the fridge until ready to cook it off.
